客委會補助計畫：客家戲曲妝扮美感探索 展現台科大通識之美Hakka Affairs Council Subsidy Program: Exploring the Aesthetic Beauty of Hakka Opera Makeup, Showcasing the Liberal Arts Elegance of Taiwan Tech.

承接客家委員會補助計畫於臺灣科技大學通識教育中心開設一門「客家戲曲妝扮美感探索」選修課程，聚焦傳統客家戲曲妝扮，介紹在髮型、化妝、服裝方面的美感知識體系，並讓學生在課堂上運用假髮、化妝品、服裝等親自動手體驗，妝扮自己成為客家戲曲角色感受客家文化魅力。課程從文化歷史與當代戲曲的妝扮，依據生、旦、淨、丑分別讓學生透由做中學，體驗客家戲曲妝扮門道。課程預計邀請戲曲造型師與演員，擔任業師現身說法，指導學生戲曲儀態動作，讓更多人了解客家多元精彩文化。

課程邀請國寶級業界知名髮藝設計周廷樺老師，示範客家大戲之中的古裝髮型設計與梳理。讓學生們除了觀摩演員造型的秘密，並感受客家大戲的造型設計美感。配合業師示範，學生們擔任演員模特兒，由石美芳老師指導同修的學生們完成文化戲曲老妝，瞬間由朝氣蓬勃的大學生華麗變身成老態龍鍾的客家大戲老旦角色。搭配完工的專業古裝髮型，以及搭配角色的適當戲服，見證客家大戲演員角色妝扮的華美美感與背後付出的挑戰，對於客家戲曲有了更豐富的認識。

As part of the Hakka Affairs Council subsidy program, the General Education Center at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology is offering an elective course titled "Exploring the Aesthetic Beauty of Hakka Opera Makeup." This course focuses on traditional Hakka opera makeup and introduces the aesthetic knowledge system related to hairstyles, makeup, and costumes. Students will have hands-on experience in class, using wigs, cosmetics, and costumes to transform themselves into Hakka opera characters and immerse in the charm of Hakka culture.

The course covers both cultural history and contemporary opera styling, allowing students to learn through practice based on the four major role types: Sheng (male), Dan (female), Jing (painted face), and Chou (clown). It aims to deepen their understanding of Hakka opera makeup techniques. Additionally, professional opera stylists and performers will be invited as guest lecturers to share their expertise and guide students in opera postures and movements, helping more people appreciate the richness of Hakka culture.

Renowned hair design master Chou Ting-Hua will demonstrate traditional hairstyle design and styling techniques used in grand Hakka opera performances. Students will not only observe the secrets behind actors' styling but also experience the aesthetic beauty of Hakka opera costume design. Under expert guidance, students will take on the role of actor models, with Professor Shih Mei-Fang instructing them in creating aged opera makeup. Through this transformation, vibrant university students will be elegantly turned into elderly Lao Dan (old female) characters of Hakka opera.

With professionally styled traditional hairstyles and appropriately matched costumes, students will witness the stunning beauty of Hakka opera character makeup and the challenges behind it, gaining a deeper appreciation for Hakka opera.
